Prophetic Art
For a while now one or two of our most artistic members have been asking God for an image or thought about what he wants to say to people or to the church on Sunday mornings. This follows on from Prophetic art at a local New Wine conference where for two years professional Christian artists have created amazing pictures while the sessions have been going on. No matter what the speakers theme the pictures developed in the back ground and were simply amazing. usually in keeping with the theme of the talk but sometimes just a word from God to his church.
Those who do this at St. Andrew's have been to prophetic art seminars at these NW events and now interpret what they feel God is saying to his people in their art. We really believe this will grow as will song writing, poetry and other art forms as we seek God. It is amazing how you can look at the pictures and see more and more in them the more you look. Sometimes it is good to ask what the artist saw and felt God saying. Have a look at these and see what He might be saying to you.
