Vision statement for St. Andrew's
St. Andrew's exists:
- To know and glorify God, primarily through worship, prayer, Bible study, fellowship and obedience.
- To proclaim Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life through the empowering and gifting of the Holy Spirit as part of the mission of Christ's Church worldwide.
- To encourage our Church Family to grow together in God, through learning, through nurturing and developing our ministries.
- To reach out through addressing physical and spiritual needs, seeking wholeness for each person within our Church and Community.

St Andrew's Mission Statement
_
We are a family that endeavours to learn together, to encourage and love one another and to pray and worship as one. We would like to see our church grow and each member build a relationship with our Father so closely that other people can see the grace and love of God through us. Our dreams as children of God are to see more people come to Christ and live in Him with the passion we have, courageously bringing this passion into the community.
Much of this was taken from the statement the youth created at the church weekend

_Dear Friend,
In September we were together for a Church Weekend looking at what God’s vision might be for us as a church today and into the future. A while back we developed a new Logo and Strapline ‘St. Andrew’s, God’s heart for the community’ and with it a whole new emphasis on our reason for being here. This came after consulting with people and looking outside of our building.
As a result of this new ‘branding’ it was felt that we needed a new focus and as a leadership team we believed this would come in the form of a Mission Statement. After a lot of information was received from many different people under the guidance of Revd. Gordon Randall from the Diocese, we now present to you this Mission document.
You will not be able to do all of what we are asking you to consider, but equally you might be more than willing to be part of it. Have a look at what follows and let one of the officers know if you would like to be part of something you see herein.
One thing was identified above others and that was administrative help so we are currently looking into the provision of this help.
We will look to examine our progress annually and review this document after 3 years.
Yours in Christ
The Revd Mike Taylor
